"Rocko" Maharg - proprietor of COBRA AUDIO EMPORIUM. Created as an extension of one of my hardcore hobbies born out of necessity and obsession, I am inspired to help others on their search for tone as well, just as several of my mentors have done for me. I mostly dig on vintage gear, quality instruments and acoutrements, and admire when each band in their community/scene provides their best possible efforts in every aspect of their show.
I play in a band called MOTHERSHAKER and we play loud, fast, heavy, boogie rocknroll that is a huge extension of my personality and an intepretation of the sights, sounds, and memories of the 1970s when I grew up.
My other interests include hot rods and custom van culture, people who are doing their own thing, movies, beer, my car club, friends and family, hot summer days and nights, the 31st STREET PUB in Pittsburgh PA, graphic / visual design, demolition & construction & working with my hands, good food, vinyl records, and my girlfriend Poppy.
I have been known to trade work for tattoos, American Spirit black pack cigarettes, good beer, vintage auto parts, and cash.
